8th April 2024: Captain Dandy brought up our first winner of the year at Wolverhampton. Ridden by Oisin, he was held up early on but made smooth progress as they turned for home. Despite being off the track for six months, he was fit and ready to see out his race and kept on really well once hitting the front.

1st January 2024: Happy new year to all members. New members are always welcome, we're starting the year off with 24 horses running in our club colours. At just £249 for 12 months, members will get plenty of opportunities to go racing all across the country, along with regular stable visits and updates on all the horses. Plus hear Richard's thoughts prior to each runner and get feedback from the jockeys.

17th November 2023: After a promising run at Nottingham in October, Roman Secret secured our 10th winner of the year, springing something of a surprise getting up to win by a neck at 25/1. Stable veteran Jack Garritty was in the saddle as our three year old filly showed tremendous battling qualities at down the stretch at Wolverhampton.

2nd September 2023: A debut win for Lazarus Dream at Beverley brings up our ninth winner of the year at one of our local tracks Beverley. Ridden by David Nolan our New Bay gelding relished every yard of the extended seven furlongs up the Westwood hill. The further they went the better he looked and although the winning margin was only a neck he looked good value for the win and will no doubt improve again for the experience and more of a stamina challenge.

12th August 2023: Showhound, our two year old Showcasing gelding, showed enough on his second start to pass the post in first place. Ridden by Jack Garritty, he showed plenty of inexperience during the race, running green and jinking but he put his head down towards the finish to win well. With this run under his belt, he'll no doubt improve again and he's one for our members to look forward to during the final few months of the flat season.

25th July 2023: Two winners in two days as The New Marwan scored at Wolverhampton under jockey Eireann Cagney. Drawn well, our Dark Angel gelding travelled sweetly throughout the race. Like a pro, Eireann angled his partner off the rail swinging into the home straight and the pair proved too good for their rivals. With our seventh winner of the year on the board, our members have plenty to look forward to in the second half of the year. New members are welcome with annual membership just £249.

24th July 2023: Airman, our two year old Dandy Man colt made his debut at Beverley under stable jockey Oisin Orr. Showing good pace early he held his position in the front rank and after a couple of furlongs Oisin was clearly sat on a horse with plenty in the tank. He showed a touch of class to power away from the field in the last furlong on the heavy ground. He looks an exciting horse for our members to follow through the summer with the Gimcrack at York's Ebor meeting a possibility.

7th July 2023: La Feile scored our fifth winner of the year at Haydock. Breaking well from her wide draw, jockey Connor Murtagh sat in second place travelling well. With two furlongs to go Connor asked our filly for her effort and stole a couple of lengths on the field. She saw out the trip well and members enjoyed a trip to the winners enclosure.

14th May 2023: This girl is on fire! My Little Queens brought up her second win of the year with a career best performance at Hamilton under stable jockey Oisin Orr. After her win in April she was narrowly denied at Doncaster next time out, finishing second. This time though, Oisin and our filly created enough room in during the run when it mattered to win by a neck. Another great day out for our members in attendance.

13th April 2023: My Little Queens brought up our third winner of the year at Chelmsford. Steered home by young apprentice Callum Hutchinson, it was the fifth success of our Mastercraftsman mare's career. With the flat season now kicking into life, we're looking forward to seeing our members enjoying the some great days out this summer.

13th March 2023: Captain Dandy got his head in front at Wolverhampton. Our colt, ridden by Joanna Mason was slow to start (which ruined pre-race plans!) and then met trouble in running as the field turned for home. Despite just about everything going wrong during the race Jo and Captain Dandy found a seam up the rail and burst through to win rather cosily in the end, to the delight of members in attendance.

14th January 2023: Capparis wins nicely at Chelmsford under a well timed Oisin Orr ride. We're delighted to get our first winner of the year on the board and we're looking forward to a great year ahead. New members are always welcome, still just £249 for the year.

22nd December 2022: Capparis gets off the mark with a cosy win at Southwell with Cam Hardie in the saddle. Given a smart ride our Iffraaj filly sat close to the leaders and put the race to bed swiftly as the field straightened for home. A great way to round off a successful year for our members with a ninth winner of the year. We are very much looking forward to getting 2023 under way!

13th December 2022: Beattie Is Back scored his second win of the year at Wolverhampton under apprentice Zak Wheatley. Things had not quite gone his way on his previous couple of runs but today everything came together nicely for a convincing win. Our Mayson gelding was travelling very well in fourth down the back straight before quickening up decisively in the final couple of furlongs to pull clear. Club winner number eight in 2022, another trip to the winners enclosure for members in attendance.

26th November 2022: Club legend Crownthorpe scored his second win of the year at Wolverhampton with Oisin Orr in the saddle. The win was our seventh of the year and with dozens of runners throughout the year, we're delighted that so many of our members could enjoy a day at the races over the course of 2022 with a fair few trips to the winners enclosure. Earlier in the day our syndicated horse Gincident broke his maiden as well, again with Oisin in the saddle. As 2022 draws to a close, there's plenty to look forward to in 2023.

1st August 2022: Crownthorpe is back in the winners enclosure, what a legend he is! Now a seven year old he showed he still has a fair amount of ability when he gets his conditions. Members in attendance were hoping for some rain and the heavens opened an hour before he took to the track. Given a lovely ride by Joanna Mason, our Monsiuer Bond gelding relished the ease in the ground and went through field coming up the Carlisle home straight to record an easy win, the seventh of his career.

17th July 2022: Nearly a year to the day since La Feile won on debut, our Aclaim filly notched up her second win and our fifth winner of the year. Breaking well she sat behind the leaders galloping down Redcar's straight seven furlongs with Oisin looking confident. For a moment two furlongs out she looked in trouble but she stuck her head down gamely and in the end was quite a cosy one length winner. Another great day for our members in attendance.

27th June 2022: Lady Celia wins the races at Pontefract under a patient ride by five pound claimer Oisin McSweeney. Getting her favoured soft ground, the field came towards the stand side and she swung off the bend a past most of the field in a few strides. It was the fourth win of her career and we were delighted that plenty of members were present to welcome her and Oisin back to the winners enclosure.

7th June 2022: Our third winner of the year is in the bag as My Little Queens ran out a ready winner at Wetherby on her seasonal reappearance. It was a her fourth win in her last six races! The win was also Oisin Orr's first winner in our Club colours since taking up the role of stable jockey at Musley Bank. Given a patient ride Oisin, the pair nipped up the inside of the field two furlongs out and stayed on really strongly. Happy days for all members in attendance.

25th April 2022: Hello Power brings up winner number two of the year! Ridden by Connor Murtagh at Southwell, our filly showed guts and determination to fend off a late challenge from Hollie Doyle's mount. Whilst club members have enjoyed lots of racecourse action so far in 2022, we were delighted to get members in attendance back into the winners enclosure and we're hoping for many more during the turf season.

4th February 2022: Beattie Is Back gets off the mark with a nice winning performance at Newcastle under a confident Tony Hamilton. It was his third race and he put his previous experience to good use. Tony rode a patient race coming late with a run that saw him get his head in front in the final 100 yards. We're hopeful he will improve again and have our members back in the winners enclosure before to long.
