7th October 2025: After a few poor runs MWAFAQ got her head in front under a great ride by stable apprentice Ethan Tindall , this takes us to nine wins for the year , well done to all.
28th August 2025: The club horses continue to run with promise, with THEHUNNEBELLLEGACY,SOUTH PARADE and NALA'S DREAM all finishing third within the last week. with plenty of entries and declarations at the moment our members are getting full value for their membership.
18th August 2025: Our horses are running well at the moment with form figures of 3113 with our last four runners. SOUTH PARADE has run twice finishing an unlucky 3rd at Thirsk ten days ago and she then followed up with a comfortable 2 1/4L victory on Friday.
BRIMFULOFATTITUDE broke her maiden on Wednesday at Beverley with a gutsy performance, under a good ride by Ethan Tindall , on this evidence there should be more to come from her. THEHUNNEBELLLEGACY is starting to get the hang of things and stayed on well at Southwell on Sunday to take third place under Cam Hardie.
11th August 2025: Another day another new horse NALA'S DREAM , 2yo Filly by ( Mayson / Western Music ) - that's sixteen horses in our string , great value for £249 per year.
10th August 2025: We're pleased to announce we have another new horse in the club SPIRIT OF MARA 2yo Gelding (Invincible Spirit / Marahill Girl) has joined us .
16th July 2025: We have added a couple more horses to the club in recent weeks , EMPEROR'S SON & MWAFAQ have both taken to the track for us and we are delighted they are now in our colours. DREAM ANGEL won on debut for us and some of our two year olds have made their debuts, WHAT A TAHOO & THEHUNNEBELLLEGACY both took to the track for first time and should come on for the run . BRIMFULOFATTITUDE finished a respectable 3rd at Catterick today .
16th June 2025: It really was a Super Sunday at Doncaster races yesterday for our members in attendance. Two runners , two winners , first up was BEATTIE IS BACK under an excellent ride by Jack Garritty , racing at the rear of the field before coming through horses and finishing his race off well. Our second winner was SHARON CURLY , our ultra consistent filly broke her maiden with a gutsy victory with Oisin McSweeney in the plate. It was great to see plenty of members in the winners enclosure , enjoying the sun and free winners champagne
2nd June 2025:Plenty of runners in the last few weeks , Sharon Curly being particularly unlucky finishing a close fourth at Redcar and then second at Carlisle. We have also added more horses to the club which brings our string up to an impressive sixteen horses , giving our loyal members plenty of opportunity to go racing. We have added LONG ROMANCE , a three year old filly by Blue Point out of the mare Ballet Romance , the imaginatively named THEHUNNEBELLLEGACY, two year old filly by Ubettabelieveit , she has been declared to run at Nottingham on Wednesday the 4th June , we also have added a two year old filly by Kodiac out of the mare Miss Mahalia , Photo's to follow after the stable visit this week. Our Mayson Colt has also been named VINCENT'S VISION , hopefully he will be on the track shortly.
10th May 2025: South Parade finishes 3rd beaten 3/4 of a length , won't be long before she deservedly gets her head in front.
8th May 2025: We have arranged our next yard visit for 8th June , looking forward to seeing the string in action.
6th May 2025: We spoke to Richard today and our former Racing Club favourite My Little Queens has had her first foal, she has had a lovely filly by Perfect Power , mother and baby are doing well.
24th April 2025: South Parade made her seasonal re-appearance with a fine second at Beverley , she led for most of the way only to get 'done' on the line , hopefully there'll be more to come from her this season.
19th March 2025: We held our first yard visit of 2025 today , it was great to see plenty of new and old faces with around forty members in attendance. The weather was very kind and we paraded all thirteen club horses in the spring Yorkshire sun. Richard and Robin were on hand to run through all our horses and it was nice to see our seven new two year olds in the flesh for the first time (photo's to follow) , all in all a lovely start to the year.
1st March 2025: Tantomile brings up our second winner of the year at Southwell in the hands of Ethan Tindall. Our filly jumped from the gate well and Ethan got a lovely early position just off the pace. Travelling well as the field turned for home, Ethan asked her for an effort and with a little encouragement she hit the front inside the final furlong. She crossed the line going away, much to the delight of members in attendance.
11th January 2025: Showhound starts the year with a bang! Under a positive ride from Oisin, our four year old gelding brought up his second career victory at Newcastle. After a couple of close second places since losing his maiden tag we were delighted to see him get his nose in front again. Well done to members who braved the cold to spend some time in the winners enclosure, hopefully for the first of many times in 2025.
