1st November 2024: Beattie Is Back got his nose in front at Newcastle, giving young apprentice Warren Fentiman his first winner under rules. Sitting near the rear of the field for the first half of the race, Warren began to ask our Mason gelding for an effort with three furlongs to go. The pair quietly went about their business picking off one rival at a time before hitting the front in the final strides. What a thrill for members present and well done to Warren.

14th October 2024: Club members who enjoy a trip to Musselburgh were treated with another trip to the winners enclosure. This time it was South Parade who brought up her second win of the year. Taking up the early running, Oisin set perfect fractions along the inside rail and approaching the furlong marker it was clear she was travelling much the best. She ran through the line really well to win by just over a length.

At £249 for a 12 month membership, you could be in the winners circle with our next winner and with Christmas approaching, we can't think of a better gift for racing enthusiasts!

2nd October 2024: True Nation secured his second win of the year at Musselburgh over the mile trip. Breaking sharply, our filly travelled really nicely through the race in third place, hugging the rail round the tight bottom bend conserving energy. With two furlongs to go she looked the obvious winner but was made to battle for the win. Oisin in the saddle scored his third winner on the card and brought up our eighth winner of the year.

3rd September 2024: Haworth Star gets his head in front at Newcastle under Oisin! Our Bated Breath gelding travelled really well through the early part of the race and approaching the two furlong marker he was pretty much the only horse still on the bridle. Lacking room, Oisin was bold and stuck our geldings nose through a small gap and found some daylight. He still had plenty to do in the final furlong but with space to run into he soon closed the gap on the leaders and went past the post a length in front bringing up our seventh winner of the year.

9th August 2024: A winner at Thirsk! South Parade gets her first career win under a well executed front running ride by Jack Garritty. Our three year old filly never really looked in danger, running on really well to line with nothing else in the race getting close to her. It's great to have a winner at one of our local tracks and our members in attendance enjoyed a sixth visit to the winners circle this year.

5th June 2024: True Nation brings up our fifth winner of the year at Nottingham. We were delighted to provide young apprentice Ethan Tindall with his first winner under rules. Our members were suitably impressed with Ethan's ride, getting the tactics spot on. Sensing a very slow early pace, Ethan took the race by the scruff of the neck, leading the field after the first furlong. From there he set excellent fractions and had a willing partner who kept on finding in the closing stages to run out a clear winner. Many congratulations and hopefully the first of many for Ethan.

31st May 2024: Southern Voyage gets off the mark for the Racing Club. Ridden by Adam Farragher at one of our local tracks, Doncaster. Despite our six year old Wootton Bassett gelding being a little keen early in the race, he hit the front with two furlongs to go and had just enough left in the tank to hit the line in the lead. Happy days for our members in attendance who enjoyed a bit of Donny hospitality in their winners enclosure.

5th May 2024: Quite a day for our club! Our six year old grey, My Little Queens picked up a seventh win of her career and in some style too. Jack Garritty took the ride up at Hamilton Park and in truth he'll have few easier winners this year! She travelled like a good thing and when asked to go and win the race, she readily pulled clear of her opponents with Jack able to coast through the final 100 yards.

However it was our Dandy Man colt Airman who really got our members excited. Following his debut win last year at Beverley, he returned to the track at Hamilton in a classy looking £20k novice event carrying a penalty. Dave Nolan in the saddle let him bowl along in front and despite carrying 11lbs more than the 88 rated horse in second, he came home in front. He'll come on plenty for the run from a fitness perspective and with only two starts under his belt he'll no doubt improve again for the experience. A step up in class beckons, exciting times for our members who get to be part of his journey.

8th April 2024: Captain Dandy brought up our first winner of the year at Wolverhampton. Ridden by Oisin, he was held up early on but made smooth progress as they turned for home. Despite being off the track for six months, he was fit and ready to see out his race and kept on really well once hitting the front.

1st January 2024: Happy new year to all members. New members are always welcome, we're starting the year off with 24 horses running in our club colours. At just £249 for 12 months, members will get plenty of opportunities to go racing all across the country, along with regular stable visits and updates on all the horses. Plus hear Richard's thoughts prior to each runner and get feedback from the jockeys.

17th November 2023: After a promising run at Nottingham in October, Roman Secret secured our 10th winner of the year, springing something of a surprise getting up to win by a neck at 25/1. Stable veteran Jack Garritty was in the saddle as our three year old filly showed tremendous battling qualities at down the stretch at Wolverhampton.

2nd September 2023: A debut win for Lazarus Dream at Beverley brings up our ninth winner of the year at one of our local tracks Beverley. Ridden by David Nolan our New Bay gelding relished every yard of the extended seven furlongs up the Westwood hill. The further they went the better he looked and although the winning margin was only a neck he looked good value for the win and will no doubt improve again for the experience and more of a stamina challenge.

12th August 2023: Showhound, our two year old Showcasing gelding, showed enough on his second start to pass the post in first place. Ridden by Jack Garritty, he showed plenty of inexperience during the race, running green and jinking but he put his head down towards the finish to win well. With this run under his belt, he'll no doubt improve again and he's one for our members to look forward to during the final few months of the flat season.

25th July 2023: Two winners in two days as The New Marwan scored at Wolverhampton under jockey Eireann Cagney. Drawn well, our Dark Angel gelding travelled sweetly throughout the race. Like a pro, Eireann angled his partner off the rail swinging into the home straight and the pair proved too good for their rivals. With our seventh winner of the year on the board, our members have plenty to look forward to in the second half of the year. New members are welcome with annual membership just £249.

24th July 2023: Airman, our two year old Dandy Man colt made his debut at Beverley under stable jockey Oisin Orr. Showing good pace early he held his position in the front rank and after a couple of furlongs Oisin was clearly sat on a horse with plenty in the tank. He showed a touch of class to power away from the field in the last furlong on the heavy ground. He looks an exciting horse for our members to follow through the summer with the Gimcrack at York's Ebor meeting a possibility.

7th July 2023: La Feile scored our fifth winner of the year at Haydock. Breaking well from her wide draw, jockey Connor Murtagh sat in second place travelling well. With two furlongs to go Connor asked our filly for her effort and stole a couple of lengths on the field. She saw out the trip well and members enjoyed a trip to the winners enclosure.

14th May 2023: This girl is on fire! My Little Queens brought up her second win of the year with a career best performance at Hamilton under stable jockey Oisin Orr. After her win in April she was narrowly denied at Doncaster next time out, finishing second. This time though, Oisin and our filly created enough room in during the run when it mattered to win by a neck. Another great day out for our members in attendance.

13th April 2023: My Little Queens brought up our third winner of the year at Chelmsford. Steered home by young apprentice Callum Hutchinson, it was the fifth success of our Mastercraftsman mare's career. With the flat season now kicking into life, we're looking forward to seeing our members enjoying the some great days out this summer.

13th March 2023: Captain Dandy got his head in front at Wolverhampton. Our colt, ridden by Joanna Mason was slow to start (which ruined pre-race plans!) and then met trouble in running as the field turned for home. Despite just about everything going wrong during the race Jo and Captain Dandy found a seam up the rail and burst through to win rather cosily in the end, to the delight of members in attendance.

14th January 2023: Capparis wins nicely at Chelmsford under a well timed Oisin Orr ride. We're delighted to get our first winner of the year on the board and we're looking forward to a great year ahead. New members are always welcome, still just £249 for the year.
